Self-employed individuals including partners in a partnership, who account for income taxes through payments on account can defer their payments on account in July 2020 to 31.01.2021 if preferred.
There is no need to notify HMRC if you want to defer this payment. HMRC have made this automatic if anyone is struggling to make the payment in July 2020
